Crews removed wildfire
shelter wrap from the Forest Service guard station along Cascade Lakes Highway.
Crews also pulled sprinklers, hoses, and pumps that were protecting cabins at
Elk Lake. Crews are removing and cleaning up slash along the Cascade Lakes
Highway. Drivers are cautioned to drive safely in areas where
firefighters and heavy equipment are working.
